Eating Gluten Free was established in 2006 to help individuals, and families have the support they need after being diagnosed with celiac disease. It started with recipes, and support, and now we have a variety of gluten-free flours and mixes.

Our Story

How We Started in 2006

Eating Gluten Free began when two women, Betsy and Kirsti, decided to join forces and create recipes that their family members with celiac could enjoy. Through this process they developed a variety of mixes, flours, recipes and resources all to make eating gluten free easy for anyone who is diagnosed with celiac disease

In 2018 Betsy’s parents, Julie and Glen acquired Eating Gluten Free to help develop new products and to help our current products, mixes and recipes support more people who have celiac or need to eat gluten free.

Where we are today

Because we have celiac ourselves, we understand the need for food that tastes good, and is guaranteed to be free of cross-contamination. All Eating Gluten Free Products are manufactured in a dedicated Gluten Free co-packing facility, GF Blends. GF Blends is a facility that is non-gmo and free of the top 8 allergens making Eating Gluten Free products & mixes extremely safe for those with celiac and any other common allergies.

 Eating Gluten Free works with a co-packing facility, GF Blends, which tests all ingredients and products at 5 parts per million. The FDA standard is 20 parts per million. Working with them guarantees each and every single one of our products to remain gluten-free, non-GMO, and free of the top 8 allergens.

We love good food. And we won’t make food that we are not willing to eat and enjoy ourselves. We even have our family members that don’t eat gluten-free try our products to make sure they will love it too.
